About Me

Hello! My name is Sadie Shattuck and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in arts & humanities and social work in May 2019.

In general, my academic interests lie in learning how civic engagement, service learning, the arts, and community-based participatory research can build sustainable relationships and promote growth and health in communities.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, painting, hiking, doing yoga, and practicing my Spanish. A good cup of coffee, catching up with friends, and traveling to new places gives me endless happiness.
